These activities are for kids in grades 6 through 9.

While parents are encouraged to support us, we understand that some kids may prefer to participate without mom/dad present.

Please discuss your participation with your son/daughter before offering to help. And while we respect kids’ decision to participate on their own, there may be times when the need for adult help will simply require parents’ presence. Also note that occasionally we will offer activities for “All Families,” and this will be an open invitation to every family in the church including yours; or your son/daughter may join us alone.

Young people are vital to the present and future of Union Congregational Church. The youth ministry here provides young people in our church and community with a place to grow in their faith in God, and their relationships to one another and our congregation.

We offer a variety of projects and programs for youth in grades 5 through 12. Some of our recent activities include:

  • Cookies and Carols
  • Potluck game night
  • Helping at the Free Car Wash, a goodwill gesture for the community
  • Toy & Sports Equipment Yard Sale: raise money for Youth Program
  • Serving meals or helping at a food pantry on a quarterly basis
  • Decorating the church for holiday services


There is also a Youth Choir (grades 3 through 8) for those who want to explore their musical abilities.
