Youth Ministry

The Youth Group Ministry program at Groton, UCC trys to provide a place for young people in our church and community to grow in their faith in God and their relationship to one another and our congregation.

Young people are vital to the present and future of Union Congregational Church. The youth ministry here provides young people in our church and community with a place to grow in their faith in God, and their relationships to one another and
our congregation.

We offer a variety of projects and programs for youth in grades 5 through 12. Some of our recent activities include: a discussion series about the book The Gospel According to Harry Potter; an overnight with education and activities related to world hunger; helping at the Free Car Wash, a goodwill gesture for the community; a Toy and Sports Equipment Yard Sale to raise money for the Youth Program; serving meals or helping at a food pantry on a quarterly basis; and decorating the church for holiday services.

There is also a Youth Choir (grades 3 through 8) for those who want to explore their musical abilities.
Confirmation Class is offered in the ninth grade.  Contact the church office for more information 978-448-2091.
